Zhejiang unveils new tours to attract Macau, Hong Kong visitors
ag25 ravellers from Macau and Hong Kong can look forward to a series of new itineraries in Zhejiang, following a tourism promotion event held in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong, on Thursday. The initiative, reported by China Daily , brought together tourism representatives from the three regions to develop packages highlighting Zhejiang’s cultural heritage, modern innovation and natural scenery. Three themed tours were unveiled at the event. One blends the province’s cutting-edge digital economy with its ancient past, pairing a visit to Alibaba’s headquarters with a virtual reality journey into the Liangzhu civilisation, a late Neolithic regional state. Another traces the footsteps of renowned poet Li Bai and calligrapher Wang Xizhi, from Shaoxing’s historic canals to the peaks of Tiantai Mountain.
